Service Agreement
This Service Agreement applies to AevaAlert personal emergency response systems,
medical alert devices, accessories, software, connected care features, and related
monitoring services.
The System
The AevaAlert system may include personal emergency response equipment,
help buttons, transmitters, wearable devices, smart medical alert devices,
chargers, accessories, software, applications, and other connected features
provided with the selected service plan.
Monitoring Service
Monitoring and notification services are intended to help notify designated contacts,
responders, or emergency authorities when a response condition is received.
Monitoring service may be provided through AevaAlert and its monitoring partners
or subcontractors.
Important Service Limits
- AevaAlert devices and monitoring services cannot prevent death, injury, medical emergencies, property damage, or other harm.
- Fall detection does not detect 100% of falls. When possible, users should press the help button during an emergency.
- Emergency services such as 911 remain an alternative way to request help.
- Service may depend on cellular coverage, GPS/location availability, internet, power, and third-party communication networks.
- Responders and emergency authorities control their own response times.
Customer Responsibilities
- Keep contact information and responder details accurate and updated.
- Test the system after installation and periodically afterward.
- Use the device according to AevaAlert installation and usage instructions.
- Maintain any insurance coverage needed for medical, disability, life, or property risks.
Billing and Service
Billing may begin when services are ordered or activated. Subscription fees may renew
according to the selected billing cycle until service is cancelled or terminated.
Past-due balances, taxes, fees, permits, licenses, and reconnection charges may apply.
Returns and Refunds
Return and refund terms may vary based on whether the equipment is unopened,
opened, defective, damaged, lost, or returned within the allowed return period.
Please review the Refund & Replacement Policy for details.
Limitation of Liability
AevaAlert services are not insurance. The service agreement may include limitations
of liability, warranty disclaimers, indemnification provisions, and other legal terms.
Customers should review the full agreement before purchasing or activating service.
